A Bachelor in Sport & Recreation, majoring in sports, exercise science & nutrition from AUT (NZ's top sports science University) means I have the most up to date knowledge and understanding of the human body.
Let's face it, there is ALOT of misleading information out there, but with Carmen's Personal Training, you will get results based on the latest scientific research. I will provide you with evidence-based training and nutrition guidance.

Carmen has a naturally friendly personality. She took a genuine interest in me from the beginning and I appreciate her listening to my questions and giving caring, considered answers. She builds well planned, detailed programmes that exercise the whole body.
The exercises Carmen gives me, are age appropriate and cater for my individual needs.
My strength, posture and flexibility have all improved since working with Carmen - I even find it easier to get in and out of the bean bags!

IDEALLY yes to get a good muscle stimulus, but it is not necessary - I can work with what you have got
I have found the best results come from when people stay consistent for at least six weeks. Although you may see results in strength and body composition prior, six weeks allows for a solid routine to be built, to create sustainable progress.
I have an in-depth induction process, gathering information about your exercise history, any injuries, thorough goal setting, plus a movement screen.
This information highlights to me your specific needs / wants and how I can best accommodate these. Each program is designed to help YOU achieve YOUR goals. With regular check-ins, updates are further made to ensure consistent progress.
